Architectural & Consulting Services for Jail Expansion

POSITION DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

The County of Amador is seeking to retain the services of a highly qualified Architectural & Consulting Services Team to provide services from programming, feasibility analysis, design, construction documents and observation through commissioning the project. The team will also be sought after for the development, programming and application of Adult Local Criminal Justice Facility Construction Funding Program (as authorized by Senate Bill 863 (SB 863), Chapter 37, Statutes of 2014). 

The overall goal for the Amador County Jail Expansion Project is to structure a facility that will efficiently and cost effectively meet the needs of the County.  The project must focus on programming and design to maximize the number of beds at the lowest possible cost and provide a nexus to SBC 863 to capitalize on this funding source.

Sealed Request for Qualifications (RFQ) will be received by the County of Amador Purchasing Office; by U.S. Mail at 12200-B Airport Road, Jackson, CA 95642-9527; by U.P.S., Federal Express, or by other courier to 12200-B Airport Road, Martell, CA; 95654, until 1:30 p.m. Thursday, December 18, 2014, at which time sealed proposals will be opened and read in the office of the Director of General Services Administration, located at the above Martell address. RFQ’s received late, will be rejected and returned unopened.  Telegraph, Facsimile (FAX) and E-Mail proposals will not be considered.
