REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS 14-03 

On-Call Professional Services for General Civil Engineering, Traffic Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Environmental and Permitting, Right of Way Services, and Construction Engineering

PROJECT DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

The County of Amador Department of Transportation and Public Works (County) is seeking statements of qualifications for On-Call Professional Services to augment County's internal capabilities, provide expertise where needed, and expedite the delivery of projects on an as-needed basis. The County will utilize a two-step process for assigning work orders resulting from this RFQ. This RFQ is "Step One."  

The County has not established a DBE Contract goal for this request. DBE participation may be determined during "Step Two" of the selection process for specific projects resulting from this On-Call RFQ.  

The County of Amador affirms that in any federally funded contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit proposals, as part of "Step Two," if they submitted qualifications for this "Step One."  

Qualified responders may acquire a proposal package at the office of General Services Administration located at 12200 B Airport Road, Martell, CA.  

Sealed proposals will be received by the County of Amador Purchasing Office; by U.S. Mail at 12200 B Airport Road, Jackson, CA 95642-9527; by U.P.S., Federal Express, or by other courier to 12200 B Airport Road, Martell, CA; 95654, until 1:30 PM, Thursday, March 13, 2014, at which time sealed proposals will be opened and read in the office of the Director of General Services Administration, located at the above Martell address. Proposals received late, will be rejected and returned unopened.  Telegraph, Facsimile (FAX) and E-Mail proposals will not be considered.
