Welcome to the Amador County employment application process!

If this is the first time you are applying using our online job application, you will need to create an account and select a Username and Password. After your account has been established, you can build an application by clicking on the "Build Job Application" link. This application can be saved and used to apply for more than one job opening.  If you have any updates since your initial application was created, please ensure it is up to date in NEOGOV.

You will create an account by accessing either the "County jobs on NEOGOV" link or "Social Services jobs Merit Systems" link found under the two employment opportunities subfolders under our Employment Opportunities page. Select "Sign In" at the top right side of the page and select "Don't have an account? Create One".

Online applications are stored on a secure site. Only authorized employees and hiring authorities have access to the information submitted.

It is important that your application show all the relevant education and experience you possess.

Applications may be rejected if incomplete.

Simply entering "see resume" will not be accepted as a complete application.

NOTE:  Your application has not been submitted unless you have received a screen and email notification.

Where college degrees and/or college course credits are necessary to meet the minimum qualifications of a position, degrees and college units must be obtained from a regionally accredited college or university. Transcripts will be required. Applicants receiving their degree outside the United States must submit proof of accreditation by a recognized evaluation agency.  Courses from non-accredited institutions will not be evaluated.

Applicants will be considered without regard to their race, religious creed, color, national origin, ancestry, physical disability, mental disability, medical condition, genetic information, marital status, sex, gender, gender identity, gender expression, age, sexual orientation, or military and veteran status.
