Make Money Helping Others - Amador County Recipients of In-Home Supportive Services needs your help. Working as a Caregiver helps individuals stay in the comforts of their homes while receiving the assistance that they need. Current wages for Amador County IHSS/WPCS providers are**:
Effective 1/1/2023 - $15.50/hr Effective 2/1/2023 - $16.25/hr
Effective 7/1/2023 - $17.00/hr Effective 1/1/2024 - $17.50/hr
*must meet requirements to be eligible
**minimum wage increase could change hourly wage rate
Mission Statement
The mission of the IHSS Public Authority of Amador County is to improve the quality of life for eligible recipients. Providing access to a Registry of providers who deliver positive, timely, and effective care.
Public Authority Services:
- Recruiting and screening independent providers
- Facilitates state required provider orientations
- Maintaining a registry of providers
- Referring Registry Providers to IHSS consumers
- Support services for recipients and providers
- Health Benefits Manager for qualifying providers
