A special event encroachment permit is required for any gathering, event, activity, or parade, taking place on any county maintained road to insure the safe conduct of the traveling public on county maintained roads. Submit a special event encroachment permit ( Special Event Encroachment Application - 052022 - fillable ) and $625 fee a minimum of thirty (30) days prior to the event. Also, include any applicable information such as insurance documents, site maps, traffic control plan, etc. See below for upcoming special events. Please print a copy of the Special Event - General Insurance Requirements document to assist your insurance company with Amador County's requirements.
2024 HOUSEHOLD HAZARDOUS WASTE COLLECTION/DROP OFF CALENDAR. Please print a copy of the calendar for your use. There are 24 scheduled drop off dates listed on the notice along with what they will and won't accept. 2024 Household Hazardous Waste . Note that the following items have been added: Cooking Oil, Mattresses and Carpeting.
