FRIENDS OF THE AMADOR COUNTY LIBRARY

The Friends of the Amador County Library is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit group which means your donations are tax-deductible.

The Friends of the Amador County Library (FACL) was formed in 1974 to support the Amador County Library. This includes the Main Library in Jackson and the branch libraries in Ione, Pine Grove, Pioneer, and Plymouth. All branches benefit from help provided by this organization.

Since 1974, the Friends of the Amador County Library has raised money to support and enhance the county's library system. Over the years the Friends' contributions have made possible a host of activities and purchases that might have otherwise not been possible. Donations have included LINK+, new shelving, books, audio books, computers, assistance in funding the Summer Reading Program, and so much more!

The FACL has two yearly book sales, in April and October, and welcome your donations.  Call the Friends at 209-217-1911 to make arrangements to donate- especially if you have a large number of items. The library has limited space to accept and process donations.
