TREE MORTALITY MITIGATION PROJECT #1
PROJECT DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
The County of Amador is requesting proposals from qualified Licensed Timber Operators (LTO) to provide Tree Removal services in the project area delineated in Request for Proposals 17-02 Attachment A. The services requested will include all operations related to the safe, legal, efficient removal and disposal of dead and/or dying trees that pose a hazard to county infrastructure (primarily roads). Said services must meet all applicable State and/or Local regulations.
It is anticipated that one firm will be selected to perform all services related to the Tree Mortality Mitigation Project #1 in collaboration with Amador County’s Tree Mortality Coordinator TSS Consultants Inc.
A mandatory informational meeting will be held on March 22, 2017 beginning promptly at 10 a.m. located at the County Administration Center in Conference Room C at 810 Court Street, Jackson, CA 95642. It is strongly recommended that Respondents visit the project area (see Attachment A Project Area Map) prior to that meeting. An opportunity to answer questions (Q&A) will be provided to all interested respondents during the March 22, 2017 meeting.
Qualified responders may acquire a Request for Proposals (RFP) package at the office of General Services Administration located at 12200 B Airport Road, Martell, CA telephone (209) 223-6375 between the hours of 9:00 a.m. - 4:45 p.m. Monday through Friday; or the RFP proposal package may be downloaded from Public Purchase site at www.publicpurchase.com/amadorco,ca.
Sealed RFP responses will be received by the County of Amador Purchasing Office; by U.S. Mail at 12200 B Airport Road, Jackson, CA 95642-9527; by U.P.S., Federal Express, or by other courier to 12200 B Airport Road, Martell, CA; 95654, until 1:30 PM, Thursday, March 30, 2017, at which time sealed responses will be opened and read in the office of the Director of General Services Administration, located at the above Martell address. RFP responses received late, will be rejected and returned unopened. Telephone , Facsimile (FAX) and E-Mail RFP responses will not be considered.
