 Engineering Design Services for the Buena Vista Landfill Project

PROJECT DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

The Amador County General Services is seeking to retain the services of a highly qualified Engineer for the preparation of construction documents for the following projects: 

• Re-Construction of the final cover on the closed Phase I landfill unit.
• Expansion and liner replacement in the existing Class II surface impoundment used as a leachate evaporation pond.

Qualified respondents may acquire a RFQ package at the office of General Services Administration located at 12200-B Airport Road, Martell, CA (209) 223-6375 or download from Amador County’s Public Purchase website http://www.publicpurchase.com/amadorco,ca.

A mandatory Pre-design Conference and Tour will be held on April 17, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at the Buena Vista Landfill site located at 6500 Buena Vista Rd, Ione, Ca 95640. 

Sealed RFQ’s will be received by the County of Amador Purchasing Office; by U.S. Mail at 12200-B Airport Road, Jackson, CA 95642-9527; by U.P.S., Federal Express, or by other courier to 12200-B Airport Road, Martell, CA; 95654, until 1:30 PM, Thursday, June 18, 2020, at which time sealed RFQ’s will be opened and read in the office of the Director of General Services Administration, located at the above Martell address. RFQ’s received late, will be rejected and returned unopened.  Telegraph, Facsimile (FAX) and E-Mail RFQ’s will not be considered.
