 Mental Health Prevention and Early Intervention – Outreach and Engagement

  

The Amador County Behavioral Health Department is requesting proposals from qualified providers to implement an Outreach and Engagement program in Amador County. It is anticipated that one firm will be selected to perform all services related to RFP 20-11 Mental Health Prevention and Early Intervention Outreach and Engagement in collaboration with Amador County Behavioral Services Department.

 

The Outreach and Engagement program will be funded using Mental Health Services Act dollars as stated under the MHSA Three Year Plan and Expenditure Report for fiscal years 20/21, 21/22 and 22/23.

 

The Outreach and Engagement program provides outreach and engagement services to members of isolated rural communities and underserved populations throughout Amador County.  The objectives of the Outreach and Engagement program include, outreach/prevention education, and early intervention to isolated rural area consumers by teaching coping mechanisms, providing alternatives to negative or harmful behaviors, and increasing social and emotional support systems.  Services shall build wellness and resiliency in individuals who are at risk of or may be experiencing early signs of mental illness.

 

The primary goal of the Outreach and Engagement program is to augment the services of the County by providing outreach, prevention education, engagement, support, liaison and linkage between the community and ACBHS.  Successful Respondents will be expected to work in partnership with County staff to coordinate services that are inclusive and accessible and build a seamless system of support for individuals and their families across varying cultural backgrounds and life stages.

 

Qualified respondents may acquire a RFP package at the office of General Services Administration located at 12200 B Airport Road, Martell, CA telephone (209) 223-6375 between the hours of 9:00 a.m. 4:45 p.m. Monday through Friday; or downloaded from Amador County’s Public Purchase website at www.publicpurchase.com.

 

Sealed RFP’s will be received by the County of Amador Purchasing Office; by U.S. Mail at 12200 B Airport Road, Jackson, CA 95642-9527; by U.P.S., Federal Express, or by other courier to 12200 B Airport Road, Martell, CA; 95654, until 1:30 PM, Thursday, May 28, 2020, at which time sealed RFP’s will be opened and read in the office of the Director of General Services Administration, located at the above Martell address. RFP’s received late, will be rejected and returned unopened.  Telegraph, Facsimile (FAX) and E-Mail RFP’s will not be considered.
