REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS 20-14
Mental Health Prevention and Early Intervention-Youth Empowerment Program
The Amador County Behavioral Health Department is requesting proposals from qualified providers to implement a Youth Empowerment Project (YEP) in Amador County. It is anticipated that one firm will be selected to perform all services related to RFP 20-14 Mental Health Prevention and Early Intervention-Youth Empowerment Program in collaboration with Amador County Behavioral Services Department.
The YEP will be funded using Mental Health Services Act dollars as stated under the MHSA Three Year Plan and Expenditure Report for fiscal years 20/21, 21/22 and 22/23.
The YEP assesses and addresses the significant need for wellness programs for youth from 12 to 18 years of age in Amador County. The intent of this program is to build and foster youth-focused community partnerships, provide prevention and early intervention services and mental health education to Amador County youth, which includes the facilitation of groups and activities. YEP is a school-based service.

Sealed RFP’s will be received by the County of Amador Purchasing Office; by U.S. Mail at 12200 B Airport Road, Jackson, CA 95642-9527; by U.P.S., Federal Express, or by other courier to 12200 B Airport Road, Martell, CA; 95654, until 1:30 PM, Thursday, May 28, 2020, at which time sealed RFP’s will be opened and read in the office of the Director of General Services Administration, located at the above Martell address. RFP’s received late, will be rejected and returned unopened. Telegraph, Facsimile (FAX) and E-Mail RFP’s will not be considered.
