NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETINGS
NOTICE FROM THE AMADOR COUNTY CLERK-RECORDER/REGISTRAR OF VOTERS THAT TWO PUBLIC MEETINGS WILL BE HELD FOR INPUT ON EDUCATION AND OUTREACH OPPORTUNITIES FOR VOTING ACCESSIBILITY, LANGUAGE ASSISTANCE, AND THE CALIFORNIA VOTER’S CHOICE ACT VOTING MODEL IN AMADOR COUNTY.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN by Kimberly L. Grady, Amador County Clerk-Recorder/Registrar of Voters, in accordance with the provisions of the Elections Laws of the State of California, that on Tuesday, November 2, 2021, a Voting Accessibility consultation meeting will be held from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. to provide detailed information on how our office will work to increase accessibility and participation of eligible voters with disabilities under the new laws. We will also be soliciting public input regarding voter education and outreach, as well as other items pertinent to the Voter’s Choice Act (SB450) voting model in Amador County.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that on Tuesday, November 2, 2021, a Language Accessibility consultation meeting will be held from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. with emphasis on how the new voting process can be utilized effectively by voters for whom English is a second language. Again, we will also be soliciting public input regarding voter education and outreach, as well as other items pertinent to the Voter’s Choice Act (SB450) voting model in Amador County.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that both meetings will be held in the Board of Supervisors Chambers at the Amador County Administration Center at 810 Court Street, Jackson, CA 95642.
