 BEHAVIORAL HEALTH 24/7 MOBILE CRISIS RESPONSE

 

PROJECT DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

The County of Amador, Behavioral Health Department is seeking proposals from interested parties to develop, operate and deliver:  1) 24/7/365 Amador County Mobile Crisis Response (ACMCR) team to respond to anyone in Amador County who is experiencing a behavioral health crisis requiring an in-person crisis response, triaged and dispatched by Amador County Behavioral Health, the County-contracted after hours response line, law enforcement or 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline; 2) post-crisis follow up activities; and 3) crisis prevention educational activities.

The goals of the Amador County Mobile Crisis Response (ACMCR) team are to provide a culturally and clinically appropriate in-person crisis response to any behavioral health crises in a timely manner by trained behavioral health providers within Amador County at any-time, reduce re-admission to inpatient psychiatric hospitalization, incarceration, and unnecessary behavioral health related law enforcement contact, and improve overall safety, wellness and recovery among individuals struggling with a behavioral health crisis in our community.  The objectives of the ACMCR include reducing unnecessary psychiatric emergency department admissions, reducing arrests, preventing suicide, and providing linkage connection to behavioral health and social services.  The ACMCR shall provide acute mental health de-escalation, stabilization, risk assessment, crisis planning to people and residents of Amador County during a behavioral health crisis in-person within their homes and other sites in the community outside of a traditional clinical setting, and follow up activities after the initial crisis encounter.

Qualified proposers may acquire an RFP package at the office of General Services Administration located at 12200-B Airport Road, Martell, CA, 95654 between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:45 p.m. Monday through Friday; or download from Public Purchase website at www.publicpurchase.com.

Sealed proposals will be received by the County of Amador Purchasing Office; by U.S. Mail at 12200-B Airport Road, Jackson, CA 95642-9527; by U.P.S., Federal Express, or by another courier to 12200-B Airport Road, Martell, CA; 95654, until 1:30 PM, Thursday, August 22, 2024, at which time sealed proposals will be opened and read in the office of General Services Administration, located at the above Martell address. Proposals received late, will be rejected and returned unopened.  Telephone, Facsimile (FAX), and E-Mail proposals will not be considered.
