Family Urgent Response System (FURS)
The County of Amador is requesting proposals from qualified Contractors for the Family Urgent Response System (FURS). It is anticipated that one firm will be selected to perform all services related to FURS in collaboration with the Amador County Department of Social Services. The Amador County Department of Social Services will distribute, through the competitive proposal process outlined in this Request for Proposals (RFP), approximately $475,000.00 in Family Urgent Response System (FURS) funds for the period of July 1, 2024, through June 30, 2025. Due to possible changes to the allocation the County receives from the State fund, the contract amount may be re-evaluated. The County anticipates entering into a three (3) year contract with the successful firm. County shall have the right to terminate this agreement upon three (3) days written notice in the event that funds allocated to Amador County are reduced, suspended, or terminated for any reason.
Qualified proposers may acquire an RFP package at the office of General Services Administration located at 12200-B Airport Road, Martell, CA, 95654 between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:45 p.m. Monday through Friday; or download from Public Purchase website at www.publicpurchase.com.
Sealed proposals will be received by the office of General Services Administration; by U.S. Mail at 12200-B Airport Road, Jackson, CA 95642-9527; by U.P.S., Federal Express, or by another courier to 12200-B Airport Road, Martell, CA; 95654, until 1:30 PM, Thursday, October 10, 2024, at which time sealed proposals will be opened and read in the office of General Services Administration, located at the above Martell address. Proposals received late, will be rejected and returned unopened. Telephone, Facsimile (FAX), and E-Mail proposals will not be considered.
