The Ione Memorial District values our Veterans and their families, and as a THANK YOU, offers a free Christmas meal each December.

         Certificate are available each December and entitles the bearer to a pre-packaged bag of groceries from the Ione Plaza Market. Package includes all of the trimmings of a traditional turkey dinner (uncooked). 

         Certificates are transferable from qualifying veterans to a recipient of their choice. A limited number of certificates are available.  There are no rain checks, and program ends when all certificates have been distributed, or the expiration date of the program, whichever occurs first.
